Imprisoned Kannada actor Darshan is reportedly experiencing distressing supernatural encounters with the spirit of his murdered fan, Renukaswamy, while serving time in Bellary prison. Media sources indicate that Darshan has confided to the prison officials about the troubling visions that haunt him during his sleep, causing him significant fear and insomnia. Confined in solitary, Darshan is struggling to cope with the situation, as evidenced by his shouting and screaming in the early hours, reflecting his psychological distress. Feeling overwhelmed and isolated, he is finding it difficult to find peace. In response, Darshan’s wife, Vijayalaxmi, has turned to spiritual means, organizing special prayers at a temple, in the hopes of easing his fears. Darshan’s legal team plans to submit a bail petition on Friday, seeking a transfer back to Bengaluru Central Prison if his judicial custody is extended, following allegations of him receiving luxurious treatment while incarcerated in Bengaluru.

Darshan is isolated and his requests for more privileges have been denied, with only those recommended by the court being granted. Along with the distressing experiences, he is also facing severe back pain. A visiting orthopedic surgeon advised further medical examination and the potential need for surgery. Darshan’s lawyer plans to argue in court that he should be transferred to Bengaluru to receive the necessary medical treatment.
