Earlier this year, veteran actor – filmmaker Dasari Narayana announced that he will produce a film with Pawan Kalyan and Sardar was supposed to be its title. But, the title was transferred to Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming action drama which is being directed by Bobby. The film is likely to hit the screens in Summer.
In the meantime, close sources to Dasari revealed that Sampath Nandi is in talks to wield the megaphone for this project. The source adds that the talks are currently on and a clearer picture will be out very soon. Sampath Nandi, whose recent commercial Bengal Tiger just managed to gain a lukewarm response at the box office, was the one who got the chance of directing Gabbar Singh 2, but he spilled the golden chance due to some unknown reasons.
He waited for more than an year, and then shifted his focus on to Bengal Tiger. During the promotions of this film, Sampath Nandi said that there is no dispute between him and Pawan Kalyan, and added that he is still ready to direct him. He also said that he is preparing a script for Pawan. So, it looks like Sampath might bring his dream into reality by directing Pawan Kalyan very soon. Let’s wait for an official word on this buzz.
