Actor Nikhil’s latest offering Keshava, which opened amidst a lot of positive buzz, took a decent start at the box office in all areas of its release. The revenge drama, directed by Sudheer Varma, registered good opening day figures in Telugu states and overseas.
From its Thursday premiers in USA, Keshava notched up a decent $ 56 K from 95 locations. This is the biggest ever opening in Nikhil’s career. His last outing EPC fetched $ 24K from its premiers. This is a very promising start for Keshava and the first weekend will be very crucial to decide the fate of the buyers.
Despite a slender storyline and a half-baked second half, the gripping narration and the impressive performances helped the film garner a decent talk from audience. Cinematography remained the biggest asset for the film.
Ritu Varma and Isha Koppikar played important roles in the film. Abhishek Pictures is the production unit behind this medium budget film.
