In a heartwarming gesture that brought smiles to hundreds of tribal families, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan provided footwear to 345 residents of Pedapadu, a remote tribal village in Dubariguda mandal of Alluri Sitarama Raju district.
During his visit to the tribal village on the 7th of this month as part of the “Adavi Thalli” program, Pawan Kalyan was deeply moved when an elderly woman named Pangi Mittu walked barefoot to welcome him. Seeing her condition, he immediately instructed officials to conduct a survey of footwear needs throughout the village.
On Thursday, staff from the Deputy Chief Minister’s office, led by Pawan Kalyan team members, along with local Sarpanch Venkatarao, went door-to-door distributing footwear to all 345 identified beneficiaries. The distribution team ensured everyone received proper-fitting footwear according to the sizes collected during the survey.
The tribal residents expressed their heartfelt thanks to Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan for recognising their hardship and promptly addressing a basic need that improves their daily lives.
