The recent report released by the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) shed light on the net worth of Chief Ministers in India. Not surprisingly, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu led the race, with a net worth of over Rs 170+ crores. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao stood 4th in the list, with Rs 15.51 crores. The report also mentioned about court cases against the CMs. It reported that 3 cases against Chandrababu and 2 cases against KCR are in the currently in the court.
There are no criminal cases against Chandrababu. Coming to the court cases against AP CM CBN. The Andhra Pradesh High Court imposed stay on the 3 cases. One case each in Adilabad Court, Bobbili Court and Nampally Court are registered against Chandrababu Naidu. The ADR did not release the details of the cases, as they are currently under ‘stay’.
Meanwhile, out of the 2 cases against KCR, one of them is a criminal case. The case is filed against KCR on 14thMarch 2013 under IPC Section 188 in Warangal JCFM Court with the Front Additional Judge. Another case is registered by Secunderabad Railway Police under various IPC Sections.
