Devi Sri Prasad is one of the leading music composers in South India. He has numerous chartbuster albums to his credit and he worked with almost all leading heroes in Telugu and Tamil. There was a time when Devi Sri Prasad was ruling the roost, some young and talented composers like Thaman, Anup Rubens, Mickey J Meyer, Ghibran, Gopi Sundar and Sai Karthik started flourishing with fresh and appealing tunes. In a very less time, they created impact with refreshing albums and also bagged various big ticket films.
Devi Sri Prasad, who was once short of offers, looked to be on a downward spiral and the sought after young composers started making rapid strides. But, since the last one year, Devi made a strong comeback with some promising albums that created ripples among the music lovers. Now,he bagged opportunity to compose for prestigious films like Megastar Chiranjeevi’s comeback film and Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 100th project. Also, he is giving tunes for NTR’s soon to be released Janatha Garage and his next film with Vakkantham Vamshi. He will render tunes for the Allu Arjun – Harish Shankar film and Nani’s upcoming film which are going to be produced by Dil Raju.
With a bunch of crazy projects in his kitty, Devi Sri Prasad is back to his busy days. He has already started working on the tunes for these high profile projects and the coming year is going to be a crucial one for him.
