Mega Power star Ram Charan has finally commenced shooting for his upcoming film, Dhruva, which is an official remake of Tamil blockbuster Thani Oruvan. Surender Reddy is calling shots for the film and Geetha Arts banner is bankrolling it. The fresh schedule is happening in Hyderabad and the unit will soon travel to Kashmir for its next schedule.
The latest we hear is that the makers are planning to release the film as a Dusheera treat for the audience. Charan, who is on a strict diet to look the part in the film, will wrap up his portion in less than 50 days. Rakul Preet Singh is paired with Charan in this film and Aravind Swamy is playing the antagonist. It is said that Surender Reddy has made sensible changes to the Telugu version to suit the nativity of the audience here.
Hip Hop Tamizhan is scoring the tunes and PS Vinod is handling the cinematography for the film.
