Pawan’s latest comments regarding “No confidence motion” creating sensation in social media. While speaking at a public meeting in Jaggampeta Pawan made these sensational comments inferring it was his trap regarding “No confidence motion” in which TDP and YSRCP fell into.
What did Pawan tell about NCM and his strategy on NCM?
Pawan spoke at a public meeting in Jaggampeta and severely criticized YSRCP chief Jagan. He lambasted Jagan and his party for not achieving anything despite people giving him lot of power by electing him and his party leaders. He further added that, by not attending assembly and parliament he and his party missing the opportunity to raise the issues of people in the legislative houses. He also told that except doing padayatra, Jagan didn’t do anything and he utterly failed as opposition leader. He told, even though his Janasena party doesn’t have any MLA or MP, he, along with his team of ten people devised a strategy so that ‘No confidence motion’ is moved in the parliament and that strategy made parliament come to standstill.
What did Pawan imply?
By these statements, what Pawan is implying is this. Actually there was no plan of moving”No confidence Motion” in parliament for any political party of Telugu states. Jagan just wanted his party leaders to resign for their member of parliament posts. But Pawan strategically provoked Jagan and challenged him to move “No confidence Motion” in parliament if he really has guts. Then, during his meeting at Kandukuru (Feb’2018), Jagan challenged Pawan to get the support TDP MPs as they don’t have numbers and he is ready to move NCM. Pawan again provoked Jagan by saying, he will get the numbers if that is really a problem. Jagan took this challenge and went ahead to move No confidence Motion. TDP was part of NDA until then. But TDP did not want Jagan to get mileage on ‘Special Status’ and moved pawns very quickly and decided to go for ‘No confidence Motion’ by itself. So TDP had to exit NDA and moved the No confidence motion in parliament, and that has been discussed across the country. So, what Pawan implies is – If he hadn’t provoked Jagan, probably there wouldn’t be No confidence motion and YSRCP MPs might have just resigned for MP posts. If YSRCP didn’t opt for ‘No confidence motion’, TDP might have been still continuing in NDA. Pawan also said, he had strategized all this with help of 10 people (probably, it’s his core team).
Is what Pawan’s claiming is true?
One thing is true for sure that- no party (in Telugu states) had intention to move ‘No confidence Motion’ in parliament. It was Pawan Kalyan who first provoked YSRCP to move NCM. To be frank, it was not even Pawan who first mooted this idea, but it was former MP Undavalli Arun, who during Pawan’s joint fact finding committee meetings first spoke of NCM on Modi government. So, what Pawan claiming is true in this aspect as he was the first political party leader who provoked others to move NCM on Modi cabinet.
What would have happen if NCM wasn’t moved?
If Pawan didn’t provoke Jagan, YSRCP MPs might have just resigned without NCM. In that case, TDP also would have continued in NDA and pro-TDP media might have been still now focusing on the good done to the country by Modi and the good done to the state by CBN and probably would have been still promoting Modi-CBN as super hit combination. They might also have been still reminding people everyday about how ruthlessly Congress bifurcated the state of united AP. Of course, there wouldn’t be ‘Operation Garuda’.
Overall
So, for sure , No confidence motion of 2018 changed the course of AP politics. Pawan is now claiming that he has strategized it to happen so. Whether he ONLY has achieved it as he is claiming is debatable but definitely NCM has changed the game for all parties in the state.
