West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, often referred as Didi in the political circles, requested AP CM Chandrababu Naidu to work towards the creation of a ‘National Alliance’. JDS leader Kumaraswamy’s oath-taking ceremony event as the Karnataka CM became the platform for the top leaders to exchange talks.
Along with Chandrababu, and Mamata Banerjee, many other top brass leaders attended the Oath Taking Ceremony event. In fact, the event has acted as a ‘Get-together’ occasion for all the anti-BJP forces in the nation. In a closed indoor meeting, the leaders have discussed over the recommendation of the 15th Finance Commission. Everyone was on the same path as Chandrababu Naidu, who expressed that the recommendations were stripping off the rights of the states and landing them at the alms of the Centre.
Sources close to the TDP party confirmed that Chandrababu had a prolonged conversation with Kumaraswamy about working together at the national level.
It should also be noted that Telangana CM KCR too is seriously working on the ‘Federal Front’, touted as an alternative to BJP and INC at the Centre.
