TRS heckled Digvijay Singh AICC general secretary in-charge of Telangana as “Parajay Singh”.
Digvijya for the past the past two days had camped at Hyderabad, regrouped all Congress leaders and led the party campaign in number of Assembly segments. Digvijay’s presence has electrified the Congress campaign at a time when TDP campaign began on a dull note, sending across an impression that GHMC election is a contest between the ruling TRS and opposition Congress. Because, the YSR Congress yesterday announced that it doesn’t want to contest the GHMC polls. These Circumstances forced the contest a straight one which is likely to be advantageous for Congress and there is every possibility of anti-establishment vote going in favor of Congress.
So, the TRS wants to remind the Congress that Digvijay is not a man who brings good luck. TRS deployed first-time MP Balka Suman to attack the AICC general secretary who dubbed the KCR family as dynasty.
Party Peddapalli MP Balka Suman stated that AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh was quite unlucky for Congress and the party is bound face humiliating defeat in GHMC elections.
” Congress should not forget that the party lost elections wherever Digvijay Singh had set his foot,” he said.
Speaking to media persons at Telangana Bhavan here, Suman said Digvijay Singh should be renamed as “Parajay Singh”. Turning tables on BJP-TDP Suman accused that the two parties were attempting foment animosity among the people belonging to various states.
” The BJP-TDP combine is attempting to disturb peace and calm in the city through their utterances . The public meeting held at Nizam College Grounds on Tuesday was meant to drive a wedge among the people of Hyderabad belonging to various states. Are you, TDP leader Lokesh and BJP President G. Kishan Reddy, not happy with the people of other States living peacefully in the city,” he asked
Suman rubbished TDP Telangana Working President A. Revanth Reddy’s offer to quit politics if TRS wins 100 seats. He asserted that the TRS was all set to sweep the GHMC elections and would win at least 100 seats.
