The AICC general secretary Digvijaya Singh accused that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has forgotten all the promises he had made. He is busy providing benefits to his family.
Kick-starting the party’s 10-day-long agitations, “Jana Avedana Sammelan” public meetings, from Nizamabad last evening, he alleged that KCR supported demonetisation only to exchange his black money. Modi and KCR have a better understanding, now. Both are working in tandem with each other with regard to non implementing their promises made to various sections of people, during general polls, he added.
He said now people of Telangana have have understood their mistake and are ready to give a clear mandate to the Congress in 2019 general elections. He deplored that while Congress created Telangana, TRS benefited by it.
Accusing that both Union and State governments had been deceiving people, the former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had benefited industrialists, the credit card mafia and Paytm with demonetisation of high currency.
Recalling that the PM had assured people that they would curb black money, terrorism, naxalism and many other problems in 50 days, he said that even after 75 days he and RBI did not announce the exact amount of black money which was seized.
Digvijaya Singh alleged BJP is encouraging AIMIM in national politics to implement its agenda. Accusing that the MIM was deceiving Muslims, he said that the party had colluded with BJP in Bihar elections.
He alleged that the BJP president, Amit Shah paid Rs 400 crore to the MIM leader to defeat other parties in Bihar elections and were now were playing the same game in UP. He appealed to BC, SC, ST and Minorities to observe the BJP and MIM’s double game and support Congress.
