Telugu media questioned Dil Raju if this is possible in Tollywood.
He replied “Rajamouli is working on a profit sharing basis and he never charges any remuneration for his films. Prashanth Neel is working on a similar basis currently. The model will soon be implemented in Telugu cinema.I am expecting that this would be implemented soon in Telugu cinema. I tried the same with Game Changer and it started on the same note”. Dil Raju brought Shankar and Ram Charan on board to share the profits and he wanted to complete the film in a year and on a strict budget. As the shoot got delayed, Shankar and Ram Charan opted out to take their remuneration.
Allu Arjun and Sukumar have dedicated a long time for Pushpa 2: The Rule and they took profits in the complete business. Several top actors have to opt for such formula to reduce the financial stress on the producers.
