Dil Raju, who started his career as distributor and later turned producer, seems to now have taken decision to be selective regarding movie distribution. As a producer he scored 5 hits in a row this year starting Sathamanam bhavati till Raja the great and gearing up for double hattrick. But as a distributor he faced huge losses this year. The films he distributed this year include flops like SPYder and average grossers like Jai Lava Kusa.
Dil Raju distribution company has faced almost 40 cr loss this year. Most of these losses are with exhibitors. These are advances from exhibitors. They will be adjusted for his future movies.
As per industry reports, Dil Raju, Sirish and Laksman are partners each having one third of the share even though Dil Raju is the front face. Out of these 3 guys, Sirish handles distribution business. Grapevine that he might restrict only to crazy projects now onwards because of these losses.
