Top producer Dil Raju who keeps himself busy with a bunch of projects also picks up interesting films and distributes them across Telugu states. Last year, he released Puri Jagannadh’s Mehbooba which bombed at the box-office. Puri Jagannadh who has been struggling for success is ready with his next film Ismart Shankar that featured Ram, Nabha Natesh, Nidhhi Agerwal in the lead roles.
The film is announced for July 18th release and the theatrical business is yet to be closed. Puri and his team approached Dil Raju to release the film but the ace producer straightaway rejected the offer. He said that he has a bunch of films already and asked Puri to search for other options. Though the streaming and other rights of Ismart Shankar fetched good money, the makers are yet to close the theatrical rights.
Dil Raju is said to have promised Puri to release Ismart Shankar for Nizam and Vizag territories if he finds no buyer across the territories. He will not offer any advance and will distribute the film in Nizam and Vizag. The trailer of Ismart Shankar which is out recently received a lot of criticism for the loud content. Puri Jagannadh himself produced Ismart Shankar.
