Megastar Chiranjeevi is making his comeback to mainstream cinema after a gap of nine years and the movie has been tentatively titled as Kathilantodu. Directed by VV Vinayak, the movie is the remake of Tamil blockbuster Kaththi which deals about the issues of farmers. The movie wrapped up the first schedule and the second schedule of the film is yet to start. There has been huge negative buzz on the film surrounded and many leading directors, filmmakers have been making negative comments on the film. Senior director Kodandarami Reddy who has been associated with many super hit movies of Megastar made some unusual comments that the film will turn out to be a huge dud.
Now he apologized on the issue and he said “It was not intentional but I wanted to say that a comedy and romantic entertainer will work for Megastar rather than a message oriented film. It has been hyped much by media which made me feel bad. I have very good relation with Mega family and I personally apologize Chiranjeevi garu, VV Vinayak and Ramcharan for my words. All the best for the whole team”. The female lead of the film is yet to be finalized and Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer. Kathilantodu will hit the screens during Sankranthi next year.
