Rumours are spreading fast that Karnataka Congress Ex Minister DK Shivakumar is leaving the party soon. He may form his own political party following in the footsteps of AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy. His followers are unhappy for quite sometime that though Sivakumar has been the party’s main trouble shooter in every crisis, enough recognition was not being given to him.
Shivakumar is expecting the Congress Karnataka chief post this time. As it is likely to be very difficult, his followers are bringing pressure to float a separate party. His Vakkaliga caste is predominant in majority districts in the state. He may face uphill task initially, but in the long run, Shivakumar has every chance to succeed just like Jagan. This is what his well wishers say.
Shivakumar is currently facing cases of violations under the money laundering charges. The BJP is targeting him and cornering in every way possible. The Modi-Shah duo will also be very happy if Shivakumar forms his party as it will greatly weaken the Congress.
