IT minister Palle Raghunatha Reddy is leading a high-level delegation which is currently touring various cities in the United States of America to invite NRIs, IT and other companies to set up companies in Andhra Pradesh. The delegation is explaining the benefits, tax concessions and other incentives the Government of AP is offering to investors. He is accompanied by G.S. Phani Kishore IRS , special secretary to Government , Information Technology and Nikhil Agarwal CEO, Innovation, Govt of Andhra Pradesh. During these programmes across USA, the minister along with his secretary GS Phani Kishore explaining the IT policy to NRIs and urging them to invest in the IT sector in AP.
Donations to Amaravati:
About nine lakh ‘e-bricks’ were purchased by Telugu NRIs in the US so far to contribute to the construction of Andhra Pradesh’s new capital Amaravati,Each ‘e-brick’ is priced at Rs 10. The NRIs based in North America Bay Area bought about three lakh e-bricks, Chicago NRIs bought about six lakh e-bricks following an appeal made by Reddy
