The budgets of the films featuring stars have touched the skies. With the non-theatricals fetching big prices, the star actors, directors and technicians have hiked their fee. Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad who struggled with a dull phase bounced back with Pushpa: The Rise. The songs were super hit in all the languages and the music, background score played a crucial role in the film’s success. Devi Sri Prasad was paid close to Rs 4 crores as remuneration for the first installment.
The top music composer is now charging Rs 8 crores including GST as fee for Pushpa: The Rule. Devi Sri Prasad doubled his remuneration for the second installment of Pushpa. The music rights of the film were sold for a record price. Both Sukumar and Allu Arjun too have hiked their fee and they would also share profits from the film. Pushpa: The Rule is one of the costliest films releasing next year. The film produced by Mythri Movie Makers is aimed for August 15th, 2024 release.
