As announced by Telugu360.com a few days ago, one of the senior most Telugu journalists Mr.Kommineni Srinivas Rao resumed his popular ‘KSR Live Show’ on Sakshi TV at 7.28 am today (June 13, 2016).
It must a jubilant moment for KSR, who almost become a media martyr after being haunted by the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister for his critical comments on the government when he was running the same show on N-TV. It may be recalled that KSR had alleged that his show was stalled by the dictatorial government by exerting pressure on N-TV management.
Sakshi TV, owned by the Opposition leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy, accommodated KSR and resumed his popular live show. It is a journalistic resurrection kind of thing for the seasoned Telugu journalist. For the first time in his about four decade long journalistic career, KSR is working with media house that is not belonged his caste.
At the outset of his programme, KSR thanked viewers and the Sakshi management. without making any changes to the format of his show, KSR read out the front page headlines albeit with some confusion and tremble. KSR’s new innings begun with a telephonic interview with one Nallapureddy Vasudeva Reddy, a resident of Orlando, on the massacre in a gay club in the USA.
Obviously, KSR looked nervous. This is evident when he uttered ‘very good..very good’ even as Vasudeva Reddy was narrating the gory incident and its aftermath. Later on, KSR straightaway took up the most contentious the fast-unto-death launched by the Kapu Nadu leader Mudragada Padamanabham.
KSR was sarcastically referring to the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s reported blanket statement that “people of East Godavari are good.” All in all, KSR kick started his live show in his own style. As we post this story, the live show is going on in full swing. We wish him all the best.
