AP Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has finalized Devireddy Srinath Reddy’s name for the AP Press Academy Chairman post. He has been working as Sakshi Media Political Cell Adviser since 2014. Moreover, Srinath Reddy is better known for his die-hard loyalty to YSR family and Rayalaseema Reddy politics. Whenever TDP comes to power, he gets busy with his Rayalaseema regional politics to embarrass TDP.

Jagan is proving his credibility again and again by giving top posts to either his caste or his own media group or to his close relatives. TTD Chairman post went to YV Subba Reddy, APIIC Chairperson to Roja Reddy, etc. Brahmin intellectuals expected AP Press Academy post but they were given just advisers’ posts.

At one time, there were surprising reports that Sakshi TV political commentator Kommineni Srinivasa Rao would be given Press Academy. Kommineni belongs to the caste that Jagan and his coterie hates the most. However, expectedly, Jagan gave Press Academy to a Reddy. Apparently, there is no 50 per cent reservation for SC, ST, BCs with regard to top posts like TTD Chairman, APIIC Chairperson, Press Academy chairman, etc
