BJP MLA Kamineni Srinivas stated that he neither encouraged, nor involved any kind of corruption activity during his tenure as the AP Health Minister. During a press meet last evening, He announced that he would go to the Kanipaka Varasiddhi Vinayaka Temple in Chittoor and swear in front of the lord that, he did not involve in any corruptive activities.
Likewise, as stated, the ex-minister went to the Vinayaka Temple in Chittoor district along with few other BJP leaders and swore in front of the lord.
Post that, talking to the media, ‘swearing in front of the god, that I had not committed any unlawful and corrupt activates increased my self-esteem. It gave immense mental peace, and sense of relief after coming here and swearing in front of the god’.
He once again emphasized that he has not committed any kind of corruption. The TDP leaders alleged that Kamineni Srinivas took bribes, and encourage corruption during his stint as the minister. The recent move from the ex-minister is aimed to counter the TDP leaders’ criticism, said close sources to the BJP party.
