Popular Backward Communities leader and Telangana Ex TDP MLA, R. Krishnaiah is likely to play a key role in YSRCP in the upcoming Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh. According to party sources, YSR Congress party senior leader and MP Vijay Sai Reddy had approached Krishnaiah and asked him to support YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh.
Though Krishnaiah is a politician from Telangana, YSRCP believes that Krishnaiah could turn out to be an indispensable asset for the party. Krishnaiah is a vocal advocate against the inclusion of Kapus in BCs as he believes that it snatches away BC quota and do injustice to the BC community. This belief of Krishnaiah and his contradiction to TDP’s proposal in according BC status to Kapus will be a great advantage for YSRCP in BC community.
Sources say that Krishnaiah accepted YSRCP’s offer and will campaign for YSR Congress Party in the upcoming elections in Andhra Pradesh. As leaders from Telangana are looking for ways to be included in Andhra Pradesh poll campaign, the battle between political parties is turning out to be a battle between two states.
