Chandrababu, along with a 12-member delegation, is scheduled to land in the US on November 13 and stay there till November 21 visiting Los Angeles, Dallas, San Francisco, Chicago, New York and New Jersey, in what will be his first tour of America after becoming Chief Minister in June 2014.
However, as per latest reports coming in CM’s tour has been postponed for now. “CMO has asked to push the date for 2 weeks due to other commitments of Honorable CM. However, this falls into thanksgiving and holidays season in US. In January, AP is hosting pretigious CII Partnership Summit in Vizag from 27th to 29th. Considering this, we decided to move CM’s visit to February/March. New dates will be communicated soon” told Ravi Kumar Vemuru to Telugu360.com
Ravi Kumar also talked about the active participation of NRT’s in Smart Village program. Currently, around 800 NRT’s are contributing and goal is to ensure 1000 villages in AP would be adopted for all-round development in tune with Smart Village concept. Telugu360 will be publishing a detailed article on the success of Smart Village program and the role of AP NRT in providing the platform.
The main purpose of Chandrababu’s visit is to seek investments into the state and also make NRTs adopt villages in AP under the ambitious Smart Village programme.
