The combination of Akkineni Nagarjuna and K. Raghavendra Rao delivered numerous classics like Annamayya and Sri Ramdasu Now, the duo have teamed up for yet another devotional outing titled Om Namo Venkateshaya, which narrates the story of Lord Venkateswara Swamy. Nagarjuna plays the role of Hathiram Baba, an ardent saint follower.
Telugu360 has exclusively that the overseas rights of the Telugu , Tamil and Hindi versions have been snapped by a leading distribution company for 6 Crores. This is a solid price considering the genre of the film. Both Annamayya and Sri Ramdasu did very well in overseas and so the distributor is banking this to be a dark horse. The talkie part of the film is nearing completion and the makers are planning to release the film for Sankranthi. Reportedly, the film will have considerable amount of VFX effects.
Anushka, Pragya Jaiswal and Vimala Raman are playing prominent roles in the film and MM Keeravani is rendering the soundtrack. Mahesh Reddy is producing the film.
