Mega hero Sai Dharam Tej met with an accident and he is in recovery mode. His last film Virupaksha released in summer last year and it was declared as a blockbuster. Sai Dharam Tej has been in talks for various projects but he did not start shooting. He wanted time to cut down his weight. Sai Dharam Tej was in talks with Sampath Nandi for a mass entertainer that is to be produced by Sithara Entertainments. As per the update we know, the project is now shelved. Sai Dharam Tej has been demanding a huge remuneration of Rs 15 crores and the makers are not ready to pay him such a huge paycheque.
The non-theatrical market of Telugu films too has seen a decline in the recent months and Sithara Entertainments decided to shelve the project. Sai Dharam Tej has also been in talks for other projects but nothing has been finalized for now. It has been more than a year since the release of Virupaksha and the Mega hero has no solid project in hand. If things fall in the right place, Sai Dharam Tej may announce his next film during the second half of this year.
