Remember R.R. Venkat? The name was synonymous with big ticket films in Telugu just a few years back. Barring one or two films, most of their production as well as distribution ventures ended up losing money big time.

Venkat created a splash in the market by spending obscene amounts of money in distribution as well as in production. But all this could not be sustained and the firm shut shop, citing heavy losses. A lot of people still have unanswered questions about this whole episode. Venkat used to remain in the dark and his identity even became a matter of debate.

Now after many years of silence and self imposed exile, R.R. Venkat and his brand are all set to make a comeback, with a leading Telugu hero. The ground work is reportedly being prepared for this comeback and once all legal issues related to the first innings are resolved, the formal announcement will be made.
