Comedian turned actor Suhas impressed the audience big time with Colour Photo. The film had a direct digital release because of the Covid-19 pandemic. He has done an impressive set of films from the past 3-4 years but all his films fell short of collecting decent numbers in theatres. After Colour Photo, he has done films like Writer Padmabhushan, Ambajipeta Marriage Band, Sriranga Neethulu, Prasanna Vadanam, Gorre Puranam and Janaka Aithe Ganaka. Almost all the films had new concepts and they are not bad attempts. But all these films failed to collect at least decent money in theatres.

Dil Raju backed Janaka Aithe Ganaka. The team also promoted the film on all the platforms and the film released during Dasara. But the film reported poor openings. Suhas has a decent non-theatrical market and all his films are made on strict budgets. The real fact is Suhas has done a better set of films than many young and proven actors of Telugu cinema. The biggest point of discussion is if the audience are not much interested to watch his films in theatres. All his films are watched well on digital platforms. The recent box-office performance of the films of Suhas raises doubts that the audience are only interested to watch films on digital platforms and not in theatres.
