Notice to YSRCP MLA’s
Even though, YSRCP MLA RK Roja’s one year suspension from Andhra Pradesh Assembly attracted attention for sometime. the episode was later fizzled out. What if the YSRCP leaders question the ruling TDP MLAs’s remarks before and after the Roja’s suspension? It may be recalled that some of the TDP MLAs too made some derogatory remarks and mocked the opposition leaders. However, this issue too subsided.
But now, another 12 YSRCP MLAs were served notices for making remarks against the Honourable Chair and leader of the House demanding special status recently in three-day winter session in AP Assembly. The members stormed into the Speaker’s podium and snatched mike. Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao lodged a complaint with the Assembly Privileges Committee. In this regard, the committee sent notices asking the MLAs to appear before it on October 25 and 26th.
The YSRCP MLAs–
1. Chevereddy Bhaskar Reddy
2. Chirla Jaggi Reddy
3. Kodali Nani
4. Rachamallu Sivaprasad Reddy
5. Korumutla Srinivasulu
6. Dhadisetty Raju
7. Susheel Kumar
8. Pinelli Ramakrishna Reddy
9. Kambala Jogulu
10. Kiliveti Sanjivayya
11. Muthyala Naidu
12. Alla Ramakrishna Reddy
Meanwhile, the YSRCP is expressing anger over the way the Speaker took action against them. When the Speaker had not reacted to plea that an action should be taken against the MLAs who switched to the ruling party, how Kodela is reacting when the YSRCP members staged protest for special status, the leaders demanded. They warned that they would intensify protest even all opposition members were suspended.
Now it seems that the Speaker will not heed to versions of YSRCP members. Now Kodela has the final say on taking disciplinary measures against the 12 MLAs.
