Twenty days after the horrible murder of an Indian mother and son in New Jersey, the FBI is also involved in the investigation. Though there are several agencies along with FBI which are investigating, so far, no charges and arrests have been made in the case.
The funeral of Sasikala Narra, 38, and son, Anish Narra, 6 was held in Prakasam District of Andhra Pradesh last week. Hanumantha (Hanu) Rao Narra, did not fly to India to attend the funerals. Officials confirm that Hanu was not barred from attending the funeral by the officials but it was by choice. Anish’s school Our Lady of Perpetual Help, conducted a memorial for him.
The attackers who are yet to be identified, reportedly stabbed the mother and son duo in the face and hands multiple times. The attack was so brutal that it took more than six hours for reconstructing the bodies after the autopsy.
The marriage was in trouble and Sasikala allegedly revealed in an email to her brother about her husband having an affair with a female colleague. Sasikala wanted a divorce due to the terrible treatment meted out by Hanu.
The bodies of Sasikala and Anish were discovered by Hanu on the night of March 23rd, brutally stabbed to death, at their home in Fox Meadow Apartments, in Maple Shade, New Jersey. There are no named suspects and no motive has been established yet.
