Fidaa Overseas Collections

For films to make huge moolah at the overseas box office, there is no need for a hit making combination. Content is always the king and Varun Tej’s latest offering Fidaa stands a clear example for it. Both Sekhar Kammula and Varun Tej are out of form, but that doesn’t stop Fidaa from setting the cash registers ringing in overseas.

After embarking on an impressive start with $ 363 K on Friday ( including premieres), the romantic drama had a sensational Saturday with a record breaking $ 351K haul. Fidaa is the only non Baahubali movie to collect more than $ 350 K on its first Saturday in 2017. On Sunday, the film collected a solid $ 226K and ended the first weekend at a staggering $ 952K. Extending its dream run the film collected close to $ 50K on Monday and stormed into the prestigious million dollar club in style. Trade circles are predicting that the film will collect close to $ 1.6 M in its full run.

This is the first million dollar film for both Varun Tej and Sekhar Kammula.
