Telugu movies are regularly shot abroad and producers spend huge amounts of money on these shoots. Local governments are giving out rebates to producers to try and entice them into shooting in their areas, as competition is high.
Now the island country Fiji is trying to get into the game by attracting Telugu film producers. While most countries are offering a rebate of about 30% on the amount spent in their area, Fiji has taken the game further by offering 45%.
This offer comes with a fee conditions but these are normal for most business corporations looking to operate in a foreign country. Fiji is a country with great natural beauty and pristine beaches.
So for all the directors who are bored with the regular shooting spots like Switzerland, Bangkok, Spain etc, Fiji is a new alternative.
