Rajamouli dream project

Having presented epic scale dramas like Magadheera and Baahubali 1&2 to audience, genius filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s name was often discussed among the media and people as the most capable one who can helm the prestigious epic mythology Mahabharata, if it ever turns into a feature film.

Rajamouli,too, on numerous occasions said that directing Mahabharata is his lifetime dream and revealed that he will definitely work on it sometime in his career. He even met some of the superstars in Hindi and Tamil recently to discuss about the project.

All of a sudden came a big surprise last week when a Dubai based billionaire announced that Mahabharata will be made with a staggering 1000 crore budget with Shri Kumar Menon at the helm.

Reacting on this, Rajamouli said that Mahabharata is like a ocean and no matter how many directors explore it, there will still be a lot of story to dig out. He clarified that directing Mahabharata is his dream and will definitely work on it though it is showcased by any number of filmmakers.

He went on to say that he may not work on Mahabharata immediately, but will make his dream come true one day. He further said that he would work for a different project next.
