Top director Mani Ratnam has been back to success track with OK Kanmani and the director is busy with his next project with Karthi. A minor fire reportedly broke out in his office in Chennai during the early hours of Tuesday which resulted in huge loss. This is the office, the ace director has been using from the past few years and all the production work along with the story discussions take place in this office.

Located in Abhirampuram, Chennai the reports revealed that there has been huge loss of the material in the office and the fire accident took place due to a short circuit. The fire service has been intimated and things have been brought to control soon. The director is currently shooting for his next movie titled Kaatru Veliyidai in which Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari are playing the lead roles. The first schedule of the film has been wrapped up in Ooty and the shoot is currently going on in Chennai. Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies is producing the film.
