Karimnagar: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has sought an apology from Mid Maneru project oustees for his inability to grant them double-bedroom houses. KCR on Monday toured Karimnagar district to assess the flood situation and irrigation projects. Later, speaking to media persons, the Chief Minister expressed the State government’s inability to provide houses under the double bedroom housing scheme.
The oustees were provided houses under Relief and Rehabilitation (R&R) package with all the basic amenities, he said. “Since there will problems in auditing, I could not provide them with double-bedroom houses, when I had visited earlier during Vemulavada tour, I was not aware of this fact, I had promised them of giving houses, please forgive me with your big heart,” appealed KCR.
According to the date with the officials. total of 4,231 people are living under the Mid Maneru limits while 1,417 youth are under Yellampally. Even though, the Telangana government would be burdened with Rs 114 crore, KCR promised the oustees of disbursing the compensation.
