With October and November witnessing a massive slump, Tollywood audience are not in a mood to watch films in theatres. The fate of small budget and non-casting films have been terrible in the recent times. Small film ‘Beach Road Chetan’ grabbed everyone’s eyeballs after the makers announced that the morning shows are free for all on a first come first serve basis. The film released in over 75 screens across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana today.
Leaving many in surprise, the film witnessed packed houses mostly. The film released in Sandhya 70mm in RTC Crossroads and it witnessed Housefull board after weeks. The film opened with Housefull boards in Vizag, East, West and Krishna districts. The film’s lead actor Chetan Maddineni himself directed and produced the film. He is quite confident that the positive word of mouth would fetch decent revenues in this bad season for Beach Road Chetan.
As of now, his strategy worked out for morning shows and we have to wait to see if the film emerges as a surprise hit of the season.
