After neutralising the notorious gangster Nayeemuddin, police had a prize catch, Ayub Khan, who terrorised the Hyderabad city with killings and extortion’s. Thanks to the Interpol, Mumbai police tipped off Hyderabad police to put an end to the gangster.

Ayub Khan, who is allegedly involved in eight murders, had multiple non-bailable warrants and a red corner notice pending against him. He has been taking shelter in Dubai and visiting many countries with fake passports, police said, adding that he would be booked under preventive detention Act.

Hyderabad South Zone DCP Satyanarayana told reporters on Tuesday that a rowdy sheet had been against Ayub, who has been on the run for the last three years. As many as 72 cases, including 22 cases of trespass, were registered against him.
