Certainly, former Minister and mining baron Gali Janardhan Reddy has set a precedent in the history of Independent India. There has never been an instance where a politician had attempted such a feat what this mining-business man does.

While it has been a custom to present clothes or silver plates to the attendees during marriages and other family ceremonies, Gali, unimaginably, has offered to present cash to the attendees during his daughter’s marriage.

Guessing there might be people who would skip the marriage even after receiving the wedding invitation card, intelligent Gali planned to lure them with cash. It will not be a surprise if all the celebrities make a beeline to the wedding. Now it is inevitable to skip the wedding for the relatives and friends in political and film circles.

It may be recalled that Janardhan Reddy sent invitation to the political leaders and film fraternity. There was a talk that he spent a whopping Rs 3,000 to make each invitation card.

Celebrities will be offered this package according to the slabs. Not just blessing the couple during the ceremony, film stars are being offered hefty package as per the entertainment they give to the attendees. It is learnt that a comedian is being offered Rs 15 lakh.

Following the demonetisation of currency notes, Gali will offer new Rs 2,000 currency notes. In all, six Tollywood actresses are hired for the hefty package to light the gala event. But star heroes are learnt to have dropped the idea to attend the wedding. This is a good opportunity for the heroines who are idle with no offers in hand. Isn’t this a good business?
