India’s first war-at-sea film, Ghazi is going great guns at the overseas box office. The multilingual film, which opened to a lukewarm response at the box office on the opening day in US, has shown remarkable growth in its haul and is inching towards the half million mark. Despite lacking the commercial elements, the film has the struck the right note with all sections of audience due to the technical finesse and commendable performances from the entire star cast.
Ghazi, including all languages, collected $ 45K on its premiers day and notched up $ 99K on Friday and $ 171K on Saturday. On the crucial Sunday, the film is cruising at the box office by collecting $ 110K( more to be added). Trade circles opine that the film will hold its good run on Monday and Tuesday taking advantage of the holiday and T-Mobile offer, which reduces the ticket prices to $2.
Directed by debutant Sankalp Reddy, the film stars Rana Daggubati, Kay Kay Menon, Atul Kulkarni and few others in important roles.
