Ghazi director Sankalp Reddy’s bold attempt to narrate a historic underwater war that many are unaware of is receiving plaudits from all sections of audience. His impressive writing has been ably supported by the sterling performances and strong technical bravura, resulting in an engrossing experience for the viewers. Ghazi, which started off with lukewarm collections on last Friday, showed great improvement in numbers on Saturday.
In overseas, the film is gaining strength from day to day. After a slow start on its premiers day with $ 45K, Ghazi picked up well on Friday and snapped $ 96K. Showing further spike in its collections, the film has collected close to $110K( more to be added) on Saturday. The glowing word of mouth and the rave reviews are helping the collections big time.
Out of the total haul, 80 percent is from Telugu version and the remaining is from Hindi version. Tamil version has hardly registered any collections. In some areas, the Hindi and Tamil versions are being replaced with Telugu version. Trade circles are expecting good numbers on Sunday too.
