Tollywood hunk Rana Daggubati is back with yet another off beat film, Ghazi, which is the first Indian film to talk about a war submarine. Ghazi is inspired by the true events that unfolded during the India Pakistan 1971 war. Amidst a lot of positive buzz and unanimous reports from premier shows, Ghazi released all over today. The film opened on a decent note in Telugu states.
In overseas, Ghazi kicked off its box office journey on a slow but steady note. The film, including all languages, managed to collect $ 45K from 75 locations on its premiers day. This is a decent start in overseas considering the genre of the film. As the film is getting superb reviews all over and there is no big competition from other movies, the box office prospects look bright.
The Hindi version took a mediocre start, but the positive reviews in National media and the presence of notable Bollywood artists should ensure good numbers over the weekend. With better promotions, the film will reach next level.
Directed by debutant Sankalp Reddy, Ghazi stars Rana , Tapsee, Kay Kay Menon and Om Puri in crucial roles. PVP Cinema and Matinee Entertainment have produced this film.
