GHMC Officials Welcomes KTR (K.Tarakarama Rao),KTR Return from USA

K.Tarakarama Rao, the high-profile Minister (for IT E&C, MAUD, Industries & Commerce, Mines & Geology, Public Enterprises and NRI Affairs) and the son of the Chief Minister, KCR, has landed in Hyderabad after a two-week trip in the most powerful country on the earth, USA, on Sunday.

KTR, an MBA in Marketing and E-Commerce from Baruch College-City, University of New York, was accorded rousing reception at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and TRS leaders of all levels erected huge flexes and banners welcoming their beloved leader.

“The Leader”, “The Prince” and “As you arrived, delight too come (Aaap aaye…Bahaar Aayee)” were some of the slogans printed on the flexies all along the PV Narasimha Rao Expressway.

About dozen flexes near the airport in the name of the first citizen of the pearl city, Bonthu Rammohan, are eye-catching (see photo). It reads: “We warmly welcome Sri.K.T.Ramarao Garu, For his successfull visit to USA”

It clearly indicates that the Mayor is “Full” happy with the “Successfull” visit of KTR! For sure, the best English-speaking politician around, KTR must have been noticed and embarrassed by the ‘Vinglish’ skills of GHMC officials.

Instead of ‘For his successfull visit to USA’, ‘on his return from the USA’ or ‘For having a successful US visit’ might have sounded well. What do you say?
