Hyderabad: Gilead, a California based American Bio-Tech Company is the first to express its interest to invest in the Pharma City, in Hyderabad.
The company’s representatives have met Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao and showed their interest to be the first company to start its unit in the Pharma City, located on the outskirts of the city.
Gilead’s Senior officials including its Executive Vice President – Corporate and Medical Affairs Gregg Alton have met the chief minister and briefed him of the world wide operations of the company. Responding positively to the proposal KCR has asked the company officials to submit a detailed report of their proposal and the state government is willing to extend all necessary cooperation, providing basic amenities, like land, power etc. The chief minister has also asked the company extend its cooperation in medical and health sector in the state.
