Guntur: Is the AP government trying to arrest YSRCP leader Bhumana Karunakar Reddy? The arrests seems imminent after the CID officials grilled Bhumana for more than 12-hours in connection with Tuni violence case during the interrogation at Regional CID Office in Guntur.
Bhumana, who appeared before the CID on Tuesday, once again appeared before them at the CID office in Guntur on Wednesday. After 6-long hours of grilling, the CID is making itself prepared to take Bhumana into its custody.
Speaking to media persons, Bhumana said that there was a plot being hatched by the TDP government to arrest him in the case.
The CID had so far issued notices to 20 others along with Bhumana in connection with Tuni arson that took place on January 30 earlier this year.
It may be recalled that a large-scale arson broke out in Tuni town following a Kapu Garjana meeting organised by Kapu patriarch and former Minister Mudragada Padmanabam on the day. Several people including railway staff were injured during the arson and express train was set on fire by the agitators.
