After a solo release last Friday with Katamarayudu, three medium budget films released this week.
Victory Venkatesh’s Guru leads the pack with a decent run in Telugu states. The film opened to packed houses, thanks to the positive reports from special premiers. The film collected good revenues on its opening day. Trade circles opine that the film is doing beyond expectations considering the genre and the limited release. On Saturday, the sports drama is performing very well with promising collections.
Puri Jagannadh’s Rogue, which released with a low buzz, failed to impress the audience and registered poor collections on the first day. There is hardly any improvement on the second day and the film is likely to end as a big disaster.
Nayanatara’s Dora, too, took a poor opening in Telugu states. The lack of proper promotions and the below average talk has resulted in dismal collections on its first two days.
