BJP MP GVL Narasimha Rao has thrown an open challenge to Chandrababu Naidu, demanding that the AP CM should come transparent regarding the utilization of funds sanctioned for the development of backward districts in Andhra Pradesh. Addressing in the press meet, GVL went on to make critical statements against CBN and the AP Government.
He demanded that CBN should release a white paper on the development carried in the backward districts of AP. ‘The AP Govt. comes with full-page ads in newspapers every day. I demand the AP CM furnish the development details in the district editions. Let the people decide about the development activities carried out’, said GVL.
GVL further alleged that CBN’s government only believes in ‘paperwork’ than ‘real work’. Though AP Govt. may not react to GVL’s comments officially, chances are likely that the attack can be from the TDP side.
With Nara Lokesh taking the lead in criticizing, and alleging other party leaders, even GVL comments will soon meet a similar fate. At the same time, even the Central Govt. should release a whitepaper on the total funds released to Andhra Pradesh state, and the quantum of promises fulfilled.
