BJP AP President Kanna Laxminarayana already opposed the proposal for 3 Capital Cities for Andhra Pradesh. But, BJP Rajya Sabha MP GVL Narasimha Rao hurriedly held a press conference in Delhi to express his support to CM Jagan Reddy’s move to shift Secretariat to Visakhapatnam. GVL says that their party is always in favour of decentralisation of administration. He argues that all the regions will develop equally if Assembly, Secretariat and High Court are spread at different locations. GVL spoke all this from national capital Delhi where the country’s Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Army Headquarters, PM Office and Union Ministries are all located in a single place in a centralised way far away from Tamil Nadu and Assam. Every time, Kanna attacks CM Jagan on burning issues, GVL comes forward like a protecting angel to give much needed moral support to all the thoughtless activities of Jagan Reddy.
Kanna Laxminarayana has already asserted that the BJP will not at all agree for administrative decentralisation but it will welcome the decentralised development of AP in industrial and infrastructure facilities. BJP AP leaders are wondering how they can strengthen the party in AP if central leaders like GVL go on supporting YCP.
