There has been a flurry of small-budgeted Telugu movies this month. This Friday, as many as six films are hitting the screens. ‘George Reddy’, a biopic of a famous student leader of the ’70s, is chief among them. The film has successfully generated a great buzz with its astounding trailer. Good expectations around it have been build up.
The other movie that has created some buzz is ‘Beach Road Chetan’ as the makers have come up with a concept of free tickets to all the public on the first day. Chetan Maddineni of ‘Rojulu Marayi’ fame has directed and produced it besides playing the lead role.
Eesha Rebba’s first-ever woman-centric movie ‘Raagala 24 Gantallo’ is also releasing this Friday. This is Srinivas Reddy’s first thriller. Rajendra Prasad starrer emotional movie ‘Tolu Bommalaata’, Hollywood biggie ‘Frozen 2’ (Telugu dub), and Jyothika starrer dubbed movie ‘Jackpot’ are also testing their luck this weekend at the Telugu box-office.
