Sumanth Ashwin and Niharika Konidela joined hands for Happy Wedding and top production house UV Creations backed the project. Despite of grand promotions, the film took a low start and has been declared as a debacle. However the makers ended up safe because of the satellite and the digital rights. They fetched Rs 3 crores for the makers which made Happy Wedding a happy project. The theatre advances brought Rs 1 crore for the makers who spent Rs 3 crores on Happy Wedding including the publicity.
MS Raju wanted UV Creations to backup Happy Wedding so that the film gets enough buzz. As predicted, the makers inked interesting deals which left the film a safe one despite of bombing at the box-office. Laksham Karya directed this family entertainer. Niharika promoted the film widely but Happy Wedding failed to register decent openings all over. The perfect planning of UV Creations made the film a safe venture.
