Popular Malayalam film actor Bala has been arrested this morning as per the harassment case filed against his ex-wife Amrutha Suresh and their daughter. Defamation on social media, insulting womanhood and cruelty towards children are the charges filed against Bala. Amrutha also complained that his acts have disturbed their daughter. Bala’s manager Rajesh was also arrested along with Bala from his Kochi residence and he will be presented in the court very soon. The case was filed against Bala on October 12th and charges are filed against Bala, Rajesh and Ananthakrishnan.

Bala’s driver has been signed as the witness in the assault case against Bala’s wife. All the incidents have happened in the presence of their daughter Avantika who is 12 years old. “Now, I don’t want to hide anything since their relationship is over. Bala had ill-treated her in a brutal manner and I was witness to it. She had scars on her body for which she had been to treatment. I was witness to all these” wrote the driver on his Facebook page. Avantiika also posted a video about the emotional distress they have been facing because of Bala. While the Malayalam actor claims that his ex-wife has been restricting him to meet his daughter.
