Congress has no leader, TDP does not have cadre and there are no people behind BJP. This is why leaders and cadre from other parties are joining in TRS, says TRS senior leader T Harish Rao.
Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi senior leader and Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao criticized the Congress, TDP and BJP parties for making wild allegations against his party alleging that the pink party is encouraging defections from other parties.
Welcoming several city leaders from the Congress and TDP into the party’s fold here on Sunday, he said that there are too many leaders in Congress. Leader of the Main Opposition Party and Congress Senior leader Jana Reddy talks one thing, TPCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy talks a different thing, and in the middle Shabbir Ali says something else. This is how the Congress in Telangana remained a leaderless party with too many leaders pulling it in different directions. Refuting that the TRS has engaged in encouraging defections, he said that all the senior leaders were scared to contest in the MLC elections fearing about an immanent defeat. So, they have fielded some one as scapegoats. But, the scapegoats have turned wiser knowing the ploy of the seniors in the Congress. This is why they have joined in TRS, Harish claimed.
Taking a dig at the Congress, reminding that it had tried to split the TRS when it was in power, and also questioned whether it was not the Congress which had divided Janata Dal Party. As far as the TDP and BJP are concerned, while the TDP has no cadre, the BJP has no people behind it, resulting in the leaders and cadre of the opposition parties rushing to join in the TRS, which alone the people believe has the capability to work for a Golden Telangana, the TRS leader said.
